Skull of Picasso
This is an oil pastel I did this afternoon to pass the time. I applied the color to the card stock and rubbed it in with folded paper towel. In a way I liked the color before I smeared it into the paper, but oil pastel has the look of crayon if the paper is rough or you don’t work it smooth. This is the third oil pastel I have done in the last week and it turned out interesting enough to frame. I am reading a book on abstract art, but don’t think it has influenced my technique much.
