Sugar Magnolia
This is an 11 x 14 watercolor on paper of some magnolia flowers on a branch. It is framed under glass, so there is a slight reflection in the photograph. I was going for an oriental style in this piece, hence the simple form and composition. This is one of the few watercolors I have done. This painting is one of my favorites.
