Broken Glass Mountains of the Inferno Planet
This is an acrylic painting of a scene in orange and white with a touch of red. It is 16 x 20 inches and is on canvas board. I used the palette knife to block in some mountains that took on the appearence of broken pieces of glass heated incandescently. The orange clouds show this to be on another planet where the temperature is much higher than it is on earth. This piece is close to an abstract, as the forms do not overtly suggest a landscape, but imply one.
